Community Safety Partnership Team

The Community Safety Partnership is responsible for the delivery of the Community Safety Strategy 2008 - 2011 which aims to achieve relevant outcomes in the Single Outcome Agreement, in particular "Our community is safer."
Priority Issues
Following an extensive exercise to identify local priority issues, the community safety aims 2008 - 2011 have been agreed to be:
- Improve positive perceptions of Clackmannanshire and tackle the fear of crime, through reassurance, communication, education and engagement;
- Take proactive and prompt action to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour and support victims;
- Undertake education, prevention and enforcement activities to tackle the incidence and effects of alcohol and substance misuse;
- Provide positive opportunities for young people and reduce the likelihood of involvement in crime or anti-social behaviour (ASB);
- Promoting Safety and Preventing Accidents.
Grants
Clackmannanshire's Community Safety Partnership is offering grants of up to £500 to community groups and individuals in Clackmannanshire with ideas for new projects which will benefit your neighbourhood.
The first deadline for applications for the year to March 2010 closed on 23rd October.
The final deadline for applications for the year to March 2010 is the 15th January.

The Community Safety Partnership is chaired by Central Scotland Police Alloa Area Commander. Policy and administrative support is provided by Clackmannanshire Council.
