A message from the Lord Lieutenant

“One of my most pleasant tasks as Lord Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire is to participate, when asked, in the celebration of a 100th Birthday or a 60th Wedding Anniversary and to have the honour of acting on behalf of Her Majesty through delivering message of congratulations. If you are aware of local people who would enjoy receiving 100th Birthday or 60th Wedding congratulations from HM The Queen, please contact The Clerk to the Lieutenancy, c/o Wilson & Jarvis Solicitors at the address below.

I am delighted when someone local receives just reward or recognition for their commitment to service in the community. Several people in the County have been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday and the New Year’s Honours Lists. If you know of any local person who deserves this honour, you should contact the Clerk to the Lieutenancy, at the address detailed below for a nomination form. Anyone may nominate someone for an Honour. In submitting a nomination, letters of support from those who have close knowledge of the contribution  should be attached to the nomination form. Whilst I cannot influence the decision, I am happy to write in support, if I have personal awareness of the contribution made. I do try to encourage just recognition for local individuals”
