Online Mapping Help  Bookmark and Share

ClacksWeb features a number of interactive mapping services, providing quick and easy access to high quality maps of the whole of Clackmannanshire. These notes will help you to use the services to their best effect, but if you do have any problems with the services or any comments or requests please contact us.

Navigation

Pan

Use the directional arrows to pan the mapTo pan, or move the map you can either:

  1. Use the 8 directional arrows in the map margin. These will pan the map approximately 2/3 of a screen in the relevant direction.
  2. Click on the map. The map will be centered on the point of the map you click on.
Zoom

Zoom controlsThere are two ways to change the scale of the map:

  1. Select a scale from the scale drop-down menu and click on the map. The map will be centered on the point of the map you click on, at the selected scale.
  2. Use the zoom controls. This allows you to zoom in to or out of the map at the current centre point. The + and - controls change the scale in single steps, alternatively you can click on a specific level of zoom. The current level of zoom is indicated by a red outline.
